MI Cup Sprints: Champagne Edition

A Michigan Cup Race! Michigan's only sprint race - race a 1 kilometer course in elimination heats. See how fast you really are! This is a freestyle race.

Based on feedback from the last two years, we're dividing the competition into two sections. We'll run all the junior male, junior female and senior women events in the morning, and run the senior men in the afternoon.

We are looking for volunteers to help with timing. Volunteers get a free race entry - you have to work either the morning or the afternoon. Not racing? We'll make sure you get some other prize. Contact Mike Muha at 248-535-9351 or [email protected] to volunteer.

Morning: Junior Male, Junior Female and Senior Women

• 8:30-9:30 - Registration - Pole Barn*
• 10:00 - Individual 1 Km time trial
• 10:45 - Heats

• 8:30-noon - Registration - Pole Barn*
• 12:30- Individual 1 Km time trial
• 1:15 - Heats

• Top three senior men and senior women, junior males and junior females will win awards.
• A bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut Champagne for the senior winners; something a little less potent for the junior winners.
• A third bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Brut Champagne for one lucky skier
• Door prizes from Hammer Nutrition and from CXC Skiing/Toko
• A Hammer Nutrition goodie bag for everyone.
