Colder air will continue to spill into the region resulting in colder than normal temperatures through all of this work week. The snowbelts will see more lake effect snow with additional accumulations around Grand Traverse Bay tonight. An Alberta Clipper arrives Wednesday and will bring additional light accumulations of snow
Upper Peninsula
Prepare for winter weather, with extra blankets and other cold weather gear. Lake effect snow showers are expected during much of the work week. Lake effect snow Warnings and Advisories have been posted through early Tuesday across portions of Upper Michigan. Storm total snow amounts Monday through Tuesday will likely add up to near 15 inches across far northeastern Marquette and western Alger Counties. Expect over 5 inches west from near Ironwood to Painesdale, and from Alberta east to Grand Marais. Lighter amounts can be anticipated over southern Upper Michigan.
