Novice biathlon clinic and race at Yellowstone Ski Festival

The Yellowstone Ski Festive will host two biathlon events: a standard IBU sprint race, and a novice biathlon clinic and race.
2008 Altius Handcrafted Firearms Biathlon Sprint Race
Format
This event will be organized following standard IBU rules for the Sprint Race. The Start will be individual at 30 sec intervals. Distances will be 10km for Men/Junior Men and 7.5km for Women/Junior Women. A youth category and distance may be offered if there is enough interest and competitors./p>
Awards Schedule
Prizes provided by Altius Handcrafted Firearms will be awarded to the top 3 Men, Women and Junior Men.

2008 Altius Handcrafted Firearms Novice Biathlon Clinic and Race
Format
This event is open to all interested skiers. No previous biathlon or shooting experience is necessary. Distances will be 3km for Men/Junior Men and 3km for Women/Junior Women with 2 shooting bouts for all participants.
