Yellowstone Ski Festival: SuperTour registration

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association's SuperTour will be one of the highlights of the Yellowstone Ski Festival again this year. The Men's 15K and Women’s 10K Classic races will take place on Friday, November 28th. The Men's 10K and Women’s 5K Freestyle races will take place on Saturday, November 29th, 2008
Below is a schedule of events for the races in West Yellowstone. We encourage and reward early registration. Please take the time to register in advance!
SuperTour Registration, fees, deadlines, and maps:
- $27.50 for one race/$50 for two races though Friday, November 7
- $35.00 for one race/$60 for two races though Friday, November 22
- Late fee: $10 per race. Late fees will apply to all registrations received after close of business November 22, 2008.
- Registration for all races will close at5:00 PM on Tuesday, November 25

Additional Details:
- Age classes: Juniors, Seniors, Masters
- Classic Race Distance: Men:15k, Women:10k, regardless of age.
- Freestyle Race Distance: Men: 10k, Women 5k, regardless of age
- Seeding will be by USSA rules.
Award money for each event:
1st: $875.00
2nd: $425.00
3rd: $250.00
4th: $200.00
5th: $150.00
6th: $125.00
7th: $100.00
8th: $75.00
9th: $50.00
10th: $25.00
Medals will be awarded to the top three in each class.
Cancellation:
If the SuperTour Races are cancelled by the Chief of Competition on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at noon due to lack of snow or other natural cause, fifty percent of the entry fee will be issued as credit towards the 2009 race. Refund Policy.

12:00 Noon: Final decision on race status announced (if weather is a concern).
5:00 PM: Registration closes for ALL SuperTour races

5:00 PM: SuperTour Classic Race Coaches Meeting, Holiday Inn
Friday, November 28
10:00 AM: SuperTour Classic Race Start - Biathlon Cabin/Rendezvous Trails
5:00 PM: SuperTour Freestyle Race Coaches Meeting, Holiday Inn
Saturday, November 29
10:00 AM: SuperTour Freestyle Race Start - Biathlon Cabin/Rendezvous Trails
7:00 PM: SuperTour Awards Ceremony – Holiday Inn
