Join a TART committee

We are currently looking for interested folks to consider volunteering on one of our committees. If you enjoy maintenance, dreaming of new trail facilities, planning events, marketing, or fundraising- we have a committee for you!

A list and brief description of our committees is below. Most committees meet every other month. Current committee make up consists of TART board members, staff, and volunteers like you.

Safety, Operations & Maintenance Committee

• Coordinates projects related to trail maintenance, equipment and personnel, site distance, trail surface, signage, drainage, and the cross-country ski grooming program

Transportation Initiatives Committee

• Coordinates projects related to government outreach, township non-motorized plans, trail easements, trail design, sidewalk policies, bike routes, and bike lanes

Event Committees

• Smart Commute Week Committee
• Tour de TART Committee

Outreach Committee

• Coordinates projects related to the newsletter, website, trail ambassador program, and volunteers

Development Committee

• oordinates projects related to fundraising, grants, planned gifts, capital campaigns and membership appeals
