NordicSkiRacer.com and CXC Skiing are offering a two-day cross country ski technique clinic on Saturday and Sunday, October 11-12, with the option for VO2 testing on Friday, October 10. CXC Skiing has done extensive clinics in Wisconsin over the past several years; this will be the first time visiting us in Michigan.
This clinic will also count toward a USSA Coaches Certification for interested participants.
For those who don't know, CXC Skiing the midwest's development organization for the US Ski Team. Many of the top racers in the country started racing and matured under CXC Skiing. The Junior Olympic Qualifying Races in Michigan - also part of the Michigan Cup - are all run by CXC Skiing.
The clinic will meet at Kensington Metropark near Milford in southeast Michigan, just east of the intersection of US-23 and I-96.
We'll have a great goody bag with CXC DVD, tow pairs of the ski ties, key chain, scraper, water bottle, and Hammer Nutrition products for everyone - and we expect to swing a pair of Salomon Equip 10 custom-selected skis (classic or skate) to give away in a raffle.
