For the fifth time, the Cross-Country World Cup circus will make a stop in the beautiful capital of Sweden, Stockholm. The Royal Palace Sprint will host the Viessmann FIS World Cup Cross-Country directly in the heart of Stockholm for a mid-week event on Wednesday, 27th February. The 1 km course for this classical sprint goes around the Royal Castle and the skiers will compete under the eyes of the Swedish king.
18 nations with a total of 136 athletes are going to take part in the Royal Palace Sprint. There is no natural snow at the moment at the competition site so the OC plans to bring the snow from the surroundings.
The Organizing Committee around Rutger Simonsson is looking forward to an exciting Sprint with lots of spectators and great winter conditions around the Swedish Royal Castle ? Come and join the event!
