Hanson Hills Classic iced; postponed till March 2

It was 17 degrees and raining as early arrivals for the Hanson Hills Classic gathered around Race Director Justin Andre. With ice building on the trail, Andre wisely called the race off. Groomer Butch Stockton had just called in from the middle of grooming reporting that conditions had deteriorated and it was no longer safe to hold the race.

The race has been officially rescheduled on the Michigan Cup calendar for Sunday, March 2, the day after the Black Mountain Classic. The race will count for Michigan Cup points. The race starts at 10:00am.
