Photos from the CXC SuperTour at Telemark Resort

Following a frozen out SuperTour at Mt Itasca everyone was more than ready to test themselves at the CXC SuperTour at Telemark Resort. 500 interval start athletes competed in categories from 5 year old youth through Middle School, High School, JOQ, Collegiate, SuperTour and Masters. Maria Stuber of NMU topped the women with a commanding performance. Similarly, Marius Korthauer of UAF led the men’s event.

The World Cup John Caldwell trails were buffed to perfection with a warming fast hard track. The tough twisting course did take it’s toll on most skiers, with a constant barrage of corners and transitions. OJ leaders were Christina Gillis and Zach McGill, J1’s were Libby Ellis and Erik Fagerstrom, J2’s Brooke Adams and Dylan McGarthwaite. Leading the Senior/Master field were Marc Beitz and Sarah Morse.
