Central Europe has received a large amount of snow in the last two weeks. Also the fourth FIS World Cup venue Davos in Switzerland profited greatly from the heavy snowfalls. A meter of new snow guaranteed a perfect start into the winter season 2007/2008. The top athletes and talents from Switzerland, as well as some top skiers from southern Germany and Italy have already tested the tracks in the Cross-Country area Bünda.
From 8th-9th December, Davos will be the center of around 160 Cross-Country top athletes from all over the World. Exciting races can be expected, and especially the Swiss athletes are hoping to repeat their good results from last year. The organizing team is looking forward to a great World Cup weekend.
