Jan 4 TC Tuesday Night Sprint Results

The first Tuesday Night Series Race took place on a very fast, shortened 1 K loop x 3.  For safety, the course was left on the wide 1K warm up loop at Timber Ridge.  It was not the best of conditions; but we made do with what we had and got a good speed and balance session out of it.  It was nice to see the large turn out in spite of the sparse conditions.
 
The fastest time of the night was turned in by Milan Baic 6:35.  Junior skier, John Hall was second at 7:00 while Bill Brundage and Joe Esper tied for 3rd at 7:03.  The 3 fastest girls were all seniors from West Senior High School.  Michaela Harris was first at 8:26, while Maura Carney nipped Sarah Nestor for second place 9:03 to 9:04.  In the High School team competition TC Central Boys were on top of TC West.  While the TC West Girls took the top 4 places to seal first place over TC Central.  In the overall combined score TC West beat Central 148 to 127, while St Francis had 87 points for 3rd.
