Do the Flatbeiner and Super Flatbeiner Rollerski Challenge

Time for the annaul Flatbeiner and Super Flatbeiner rollerski tour/chanllenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan:

Nov. 4 - Flatbeiner: AJ's to Sand Lake and Return (66.2 K). Skiers can do as many k's as they want. AJ's to Cedar Springs (17 Mile Road) and return is 50.2K.

Nov. 11 - Super Flatbeiner: The Grand Tour. Start at AJ's go south to Ann St and return to AJ's then North to Sand Lake and Return - 79.5 K.

Again, skiers can do as much distance as they want because both skis are out-and-back.

Be ready to roll at 9 AM.

There are stores in Belmont, Rockford, Cedar Springs, and Sand Lake if addtional caloric intake or fluid replacement is necessary.

Directions:

We park at AJ's. AJ's is the closest parking lot to the 5/3 Ball Park entrance off of West River Drive.

From the east off I-196 or I-96: go to 131N and exit at West River Drive. Drive straight through the stoplight into the Ball Park area. AJ's is a go-cart race track on your left. Park just beyond that on your left.

From the North - 131S to West River Drive, turn left at stoplight and then right at the next light under the overpass and park at AJ's.
