Straits Strider Jim Meyer 1st in class at 45th Annual Equinox Marathon

Last Saturday, after a 20 year hiatus, Jim ran the grueling Equinox which climbs some 3,400 vertical feet over the 26.2 mile course in Fairbanks, AK with his daughter Erica. Mixed in with his marathon training, Jim runs many of the local 5K races, kayaks, pedals road & mountain bikes, and rollerskis. One of the more outgoing characters on our Michigan Cup circuit, Jim will be hard to keep up with again this winter!
