Skiers and team leaders throughout Michigan, Ontario, and the greater upper midwest are reminded that the 2004 Subaru National Masters are just 13 weeks away coming to the beautiful trails of Ishpeming/Marquette, Michigan...January 17-22, 2004.
Note that now skiers down to age 25 are considered "masters" in the U.S., also that skiers age 20-24 can race in a non-Championship senior category, AND that all foreign skiers are welcome to join in on the fun without restrictions.
The American Cross Country Skiers (AXCS) also wishes to remind folks about the exciting and fun team competition that is an integral part of the National Masters. Designed for literally all age, gender, and ability combinations, NM2004 team competition will take place in four categories...
Team competition is a great way to encourage your friends and team participants to sign up for the National Masters...folks that would otherwise skip the events because they thought they "weren't good enough". Every skier on a team can count toward the team score and no matter where the team finishes, everyone can have a blast.
You can find full information about Subaru NM2004 Team Competition on xcskiworld.com website as well as up-to-date information on all the events plus on-line registration.
See you there in January!
