Crystal Pre-Season Opener Cancelled

Sad to report that  the Crystal Per-Season Opener has been cancelled. Although we have fairly good snow on several of our trails, marginal conditions on certain sections prevented us from offering a safe and acceptable event. Although we regret this decision, we felt making the call with enough time to let skiers who would have to travel enough time to make other plans.

I have talked with Boyne Mountain and Loe Owodey is investigating the possibility of having a race there. This is not official, so you should check with Boyne on Thursday for varification.

We hope to see you at Crystal soon and when you call, rest assured you will get accurate trails conditions along with great service at the Kinlocken Nordic Center. Put January 15th on your race calender for the 3rd annual Crystal Highlander. 25km of "get ready for the big races after that". We promise a great event for everyone. Thanks again for your patience and understanding.
