'Can't miss' Ski and Snowboard Hall, says Rand McNally

ISHPEMING, Mich. (July 10) - The U.S. National Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum http://www.skihall.com/ is highlighted as a "can't miss" stop in Rand McNally's new Midwest Getaway Guide. The guide blends travel information and recommended stops with maps designed to help vacationers find their way to the destinations featured in the guide.

"The Midwest is known for warm hospitality," says Rand McNally Editorial Director Laurie Borman, "but the places that made it into the Midwest Getaway Guide offered more than just a friendly face - they have that unique something that makes them a cut above the rest."

The Hall of Fame and Museum, on Highway 41 West, is the national museum for snow sports in the United States and features more than 15,000 square feet of exhibits. Its distinctive architecture is symbolic of ski sports and its walls have honored 349 contributors to the development of skiing and snowboarding in America.
