Get Your Nordic On Clinic Planned for Hayward, WI, June 23

The Central Cross Country Ski Association (CXC Skiing) is pleased to announce the first Get Your Nordic On! clinic of the 2007 summer season.  The dryland clinic will be held on Saturday, June 23 at Eytcheson Park in Hayward, Wisconsin and hosted by New Moon Ski and Bike shop. The clinic will be run in conjunction with the annual Hayward Musky Fest and begins at 9:00am. Activities will include a series of dryland training drills and progress onto rollerskis. The clinic is open to skiers of all ages and abilities. Bring your rollerskis, boots, poles, and helmet. New Moon has provided test rollerskis to use for those who don’t have them already. Don’t forget your swim suit for a dip in Smith Lake following the clinic!

Schedule:

9:00am – Introduction
9:10 – Dryland drills
9:30 – Depart for short rollerski and drills
10:30 – Arrive back at Eytcheson Park
(optional swim in refreshing Smith Lake to follow!)
 
Directions from Hayward, Wisconsin:

From Hwy 63, take Hwy 77 west to County Road T.
Go right on T.  Follow T as it curves left.
Eytcheson Park is on the left just before you get to Smith Lake.
