Hanson Hills Makes Trail Improvements

Change is Good!

Hanson Hills Recreation Area is ready for the 2004-05 ski season.  The staff has put a lot of pride into the grounds and has done an excellent job getting ready for the winter season.

Hanson Hills has gone through a series of changes over the past year, one of the most significant changes is in the cross country trail system. Now skiers will be able to start and finish at the same point. Gone are the days of finishing your ski and carrying your gear across the parking lot.

The trail system this year will be groomed with a newly purchased Bombardier Bombi and the already existing Pisten Bully and Polaris Snowmobile. New signs are in place to direct skiers smoothly through the re-routed trails.

Hanson Hills will have 4 races this season, The Big Bad Bombi and the Ski for the Groomer are new races that have been added to the race schedule joining the Michigan Cup Marathon and Hanson Hills Classic.
