A double-tracked course greeted racers at Forbush Corner's Forbush Memorial Classic, this year in honor of Mike Keenan. Great (OK, cold) weather and a great course lay in waiting for everyone. As Grand Rapids Nordic's Dan Wisneski put it: "[Sunday's] race course was a blast to ski, the tracks were excellent, the course had a good mix of hills and flats."

It was a Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop day, with the team taking both wins and 4 of the 6 podium spots.
Jorden Wakeley (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) picked up his second win of the weekend, having won the prior day's 40km White Pine Stampede. He finished first in 32:14, with teammate Eric Parrott second in 34:56 Yvon Dufour (Team NordicSkiRacer) took; third in 36:03. This was Wakeley's 4th win of the season.
Rebecca Davis (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) won the women's division on 40:07. after coming in second in the White Pine Stampede. This was also Davis's 4th win of the season. Elizabeth Callison (U of M Nordic) took second in 44:07. Mary Schlimmer-Willoughby (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) finished off the podium in 45:19.
In the junior 6km race, Vasa Raptors swept the podium positions. For the guys, it was Solomon Debruyn first in 15:18, Harrison Jeffries second in 16:01, and Bode Dykstra third in 16:42.
Ava (ava Rae) Zeratsky was the top girl in 16:08, Lindsay Smith second in 6:49, and Emma Dykstra third in 18:10.
