Points Keeper Ken Dawson has updated the current individual JUNIOR standings (PDF): "I included the latest Michigan Cup results for juniors that include Flying Squirrel and Beech Nuts races. Seniors did not change except for some edits people sent me, so I did not include them."
Carefully review to see if you are assigned to the correct team. Team captains have until the end of January to make corrections.
Note that Ken is still using the 2024-2025 team rosters. He'll start using the 2025-2026 rosters on February 1.
Team NordicSkiRacer's Beckham Haberkorn continues to lead the overall junior men's lead with 598 points, but the gap is closing. Vasa's Harrison Jeffries is just behind Haberkorn with 590 points. Henry Burris is third with 575 points.
Vasa's Lindsey Smith also maintain her junior women's lead with 599 points, a mere one point lead over Shirel Temkin (Cross Country Ski Headquarters) with 398 points. Avery Kelly, Ava Higley, and Annabelle Sketch move into third place, each with 591 points.
Other juniors to watch:
Zach Dunne is in fourth with two wins in only two races. Will he be entering more races?
Remember, a racer's best five races count. No junior has raced more than three races so far. We'll see how things change after a few more races...
