Points Keeper Ken Dawson just released the second edition of the current individual standings (PDF). Carefully review to see if you are assigned to the correct team. Team captains have until the end of January to make corrections. These result are through the Nub's Nob Classic but do not include the Flying Squirrel results (we have not received a copy yet).
Note that Ken is using the 2024-2025 team rosters. He'll start using the 2025-2026 rosters on February 1.
Team NordicSkiRacer's Beckham Haberkorn maintains the overall junior men's lead with 598 points, having won two races and finished third in a third race. Liam Crimmins, Zach Dunne and Liam Wierzba (Vasa) are tied for second place with one win each (200 points each).
Vasa's Lindsey Smith continues to lead the junior women with 399 points, a one point lead over Avery Newmister (Team NordicSkiRacer) and Shirel Temkin (Cross Country Ski Headquarters), each with 398 points.
Other juniors to watch:
Ava Zeratsky (Vasa) and Avery Ludlow (Team NordicSkiRacer) have each won races.
Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop's Rebecca Davis maintains her lead with 995 points that include one win, three second places, and a third place finish. Deanna Spencer (Cross Country Ski Headquarters) stays in second place with 983 points and Lavina Ratfoul (Team NordicSkiRacer) maintains third place with 957 points.
Michael Davis (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) and Yvon Dufour (Team NordicSkiRacer) are tied for the senior men's lead with 973 points each. Team NordicSkiRacer Allen Sogrenfrei advanced into third place with 933 points.
Who are be keeping our eyes on?
Erica O'Hearn (Vasa) has won all three races she has entered. If she wins two more... Kaitlyn Vanias (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) and Karin Rand (Team NordicSkiRacer) have each won a race.
For the men, Bradley Baas (Team NordicSkiRacer) has won two races plus has a second place and a third place. Jordan Wakely (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) also won two races and placed second in the other race he entered.
