We are five races into the 2025-2026 Michigan Cup season - One junior race and four senior races - and Points Keeper Ken Dawson just released the current individual standings (PDF). Carefully review to see if you are assigned to the correct team. Team captains have until the end of January to make corrections.
Team NordicSkiRacer's Beckham Haberkorn leads the overall junior men with 400 points, having won two races. Zach Dunne and Liam Wierzba (Vasa) are tied for second place with one win each (200 points each).
Vasa's Lindsey Smith leads the junior women with 399 points, a one point lead over Avery Newmister (Team NordicSkiRacer) and Shirel Temkin (Cross Country Ski Headquarters), each with 398 points.
Other juniors to watch:
Ava Zeratsky (Vasa) and Avery Ludlow (Team NordicSkiRacer) have each won races.
Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop's Rebecca Davis leads the women with 797 points that include one win and three second place finishes. Not too far behind are Deanna Spencer (Cross Country Ski Headquarters) with 781 points and Lavina Ratfoul (Team NordicSkiRacer) with 761 points.
Not to be outdone by Rebecca, Michael Davis (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) leads the senior men with 779 points. Yvon Dufour (Team NordicSkiRacer) is snapping at Davis's heals with 776 points. Steven Steffke is just a bit further behind in third place with 729 points.
Who are be keeping our eyes on?
Kaitlyn Vanias (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop), Karin Rand (Team NordicSkiRacer), and Erica O'Hearn (Vasa) have all won a race.
For the men, Bradley Baas (Team NordicSkiRacer) has won two races. Jordan Wakely (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) won one race and placed second in the other race he entered.
