Rebecca Davis and Bradley Baas doublepole to Krazy Klassic victory

Rebecca Davis powered over her rivals in the 2026 Krazy Klassic while Bradley Baas used strategy to win over Michael Davis.

Davis (Cross Country Ski Shop / Hanson Hills) took off like a rocket and never looked back. She doublepoled away for a gap of nearly 4 minutes by the time she crossed the finish line in 30:34. Deena Spencer took second in 34:26, followed by Elizabeth Callison in 37:21.

Baas (Team NordicSkiRacer) showed total respect for Michael Davis, shadowing him for most of the race. At the beginning of the last lap, he sprinted around Davis and built up a small lead, winning in 25:56 with Davis just behind in 26:10. Sean Newmister took third in 28:06 after managing a small gap over a chase pack consisting of Yvon Dufour, Allen Sorgenfrei, and Jason Zimmerman.

Trail conditions were improved over Saturday's Frosty Freestyle: New fresh and manmade snow buried most of the dirty snow from the day before. The trail was triple tracked and wider than Saturday.
