The Cross Country Ski Headquarters leads the overall Michigan Cup team competition going into the Michigan High School Championships and the Black Mountain races. With 25,206 points, the Headquarters has a hefty - but not insurmountable - lead over the Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team's 23,694 points. Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop is third with 19,958 points.

In the junior category, Traverse O'Hearn, Jack Mazurek, and Nathan Gorman lead the Junior Men with 941, 934, and 902 points. All are from the Vasa Ski Club. All have completed 5 races so far
Shirel Temkin (Cross Country Ski Headquarters, Lindsay Smith (no team), and Sylvia Coulter (Vasa) lead the women with 943, 774, and 745 points. Only Temkin has complete 5 races. No other Junior Women have completed more than 4.
I would expect the rankings for the juniors to change given all the points available this coming weekend at the Michigan High School Champships.
In the senior category, Rebecca Davis (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) leads with 1,000 points and five wins. Erica O'Hearn (Vasa) is only six points behind (994 points) with three wins. Mandy Paull (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) is third with 988 and two wins.
Jorden Wakeley (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop) leads the men with 1,000 points and five wins, followed by Ed Roe (Vasa) with 998 points and three wins. In third place with 991 points is Andrew Moore (Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop).
