Andy Liebner created a mini-documentary about growing up in Alaska and competing in the 2024 Homer Epic 100k cross country ski race. Racers can ski, bike, or run the event, which also includes a 50k division. The race is capped at 150 participants. In 2024, 129 racers signed up, although there were a number of DNS, maybe because of the 10F start temperature. Ten skiers raced the 100k course. The 100k route climbed 6,194 feet.
