Cliff Onthank and Ken Dawson to co-direct North American Vasa

The North American Vasa Board of Directors is happy to announce that Cliff Onthank and Ken Dawson will share the position of race director. Former race director, Janice Davidson will provide consulting and mentorship to the duo.

Dawson and Onthank are both master Nordic skiers who have competed on the international and national Nordic racing circuit. Together they have skied in over fifty Vasa races. With their passion and enthusiasm for the Nordic racing, they will bring a revitalized energy to this longtime Traverse City tradition.

The 2025 North American Vasa will take place on February 8 and 9 in Traverse City. More announcements will be forthcoming.
