The Cross Country Ski Headquarters has once again won the overall Michigan Cup, narrowly beating Team NordicSkiRacer.com by a mere 259.8 points, the smallest margin ever in the Michigan Cup Series. Team NordicSkiRacer made up 438 points on the Headquarters during the Michigan Cup Relays but it was not enough to bridge the deficit in points between the teams.
The Vasa Ski Club brought a bunch of Juniors to the relays and won the day but remained in third in the overall Michigan Cup Standings. Hanson Hills/Cross Country Ski Shop brought it on to barely hold off the Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team for fourth place.

The Vasa Ski Club juniors won the 2023 Baic Cup for the top senior team. With way more racers than any other team, it was a forgone conclusion! The Vasa Raptors also won the overall Michigan High School Championships that included teams from the Upper Peninsula.

As previously noted, Team NordicSkiRacer took the 2023 Brumbaugh Cup, stealing it away from last year's winner, Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Headquarters.

A special presentation was made to Frank Nizio and Linda Allen for there contribution to cross country ski and in particular to their funding of snowmaking for Forbush Corner. They were awarded a gold medal plaque. Both Frank and Linda had tears along with most of the crowd!
