Vasa shortens Saturday's races, cancels Sunday's races

North American Vasa - Race updates
The forecast is calling for beautiful blue skies, 40’s and rain most of the week. We all love the sun, but the ski trails do not.
We remain hopeful and will continue to do all we can to provide a safe and fun event! Here are the updates as of 2/6/2023:
All Saturday February 11th races will run on a revised course.
- 6k (1 loop)
- 15k moving to a 12k (6k loop x2)
- 27k moving to a 18k (6k loop x3)
- Junior Vasa
- Fat Tire 35k
- Fat Tire 17k
All Sunday, February 12th races are canceled for 2023.
We have based this difficult decision on the fact that there is not enough snow to set a safe and quality track.
Registration Options
- Race the revised Saturday as;scheduled- no action needed
- Transfer your Sunday Race’to a Saturday,race. To do so you must email John at [email protected] by 4pm on Wednesday 2/8/23. No exceptions.
- Donate your registration— no action needed.
- Request a refund at [email protected] by 5pm Friday 2/10/23.
VOLUNTEERS can expect updated communications in the nextfew days.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work onthe next steps. Saturday event and course updates will be communicated as they become available. Waves will be assigned at packet pick up.
