103 Miles for a cause

I am seeking your support again this year to help raise a minimum of $3,000 for cancer research via Pelotonia 2022. You may recall that I rode 103 miles for Pelotonia last year and with your help, I was successful raising over $10,000. I was overwhelmed by how much financial support people gave and was inspired to ride this year. Pelotonia is a big deal. Over three days, 6,000+ riders and thousands more volunteers contribute their time and effort to this worthy cause. What I like most about this fundraiser is that 100% of the proceeds go to cancer research. This is because employers like Huntington Bank cover all the costs for putting on the event.

I am confident that each of you have family and/or friends that have survived or died from cancer. In my case, my first wife Susan and my sister-in-law Kathy and Mari Anne’s Mom died from cancer and my mother and brother John are cancer survivors. I will be thinking of them and all my other family/friends that have dealt with the unfortunate effects of cancer. Please join me by donating today.
