Vasa…. What’s Happening?!

Despite rumors to the contrary, the North American VASA is alive and well, and excited to be back in business for our 46th year after a one-year COVID break. We hope to see you February 12 & 13 at Timber Ridge Resort, Traverse City!

Be sure to register by February 9th, 6:00 pm because there will be no opportunity to do so after that. All registrations will be online this year due to COVID concerns.

The next price increase is February 1. Sign up early and save!

Speaking of signing up early, we are limiting our entries this year. Once a race is full, we can’t accept any more racers.

The Michigan Cup Challenge

The Michigan Cup Challenge will be our signature event which will identify King and Queen Vasa for 2022! A $500/$250/$100 purse will be given to the top three winners, male and female. To enter, sign up for the 27K freestyle race on Saturday and the 15K classic on Sunday. You will get an automatic discount when you sign up for both.

Be prepared for a mostly outdoor event, again, due to COVID . We absolutely want to keep volunteers, racers, staff and spectators healthy and safe!

We are also looking for a few good volunteers! To volunteer, go to www.vasa.org and hit the “VOLUNTEER” button on the home page. Volunteers are the lifeblood of the Vasa!
