North American Vasa announces title sponsors

Traverse City: The North American Vasa is in the final planning stage for the 46th Annual Vasa Festival of Races scheduled for February 12-13, 2022. Gussie Peterson, Vasa board president said “We are very excited to introduce our co-title sponsors for our 2022 events. Both Huntington Bank and Serra Subaru Traverse City are very community oriented companies that we are proud to be affiliated with. We expect to stage a full complement of cross country skiing, snowshoe and fat biking events for the weekend.” Almost 1,000 competitors are expected representing ages from 5-80.

Huntington Bank is a top U.S. regional bank, with dual headquarters in Detroit and Columbus, Ohio and has a the most bank branches in Michigan and Ohio. The bank has a long history of supporting community programs including Pelotonia, a three-day series of cycling events in Columbus that has raised over $236 million for cancer research.

Serra Subaru Traverse City is a long-standing Vasa sponsor. They are part of the Serra Automotive Group headquartered in Fenton, Michigan and rank among the top ten of privately held retail automotive groups in the US. Serra Auto operates in seven states and includes 51 dealerships and represents 63 automotive franchises. Subaru vehicles have been a favorite mode of transportation for winter sports enthusiasts for many years.
