Update on this season's Michigan Cup

A quick update on the Michigan Cup:

1. Virtual races do not count for Michigan Cup points per discussion and vote at this summer's Michigan Cup meeting. That means the White Pine Stampede and Noquemanon Ski Marathon do not count for points this season.
2. The race schedule has now been reduced to 9 races for Juniors and 9 races for Seniors because of cancellations or racing converting to virtual. At 9 races, a racers' top 5 will count for individual Michigan Cup points standings. If it drops to 7 races, a racers' top 4 races will count.
3. The High School Championships in Houghton are still on per my latest communication with them. The two Black Mountain races are still in negotiation with the DNR over permits per my last communication with Denny Paull.
