Virtual White Pine Stampede registration is open

Registration for the Virtual White Pine Stampede is open! You can register for the White Pine and get full details here: https://whitepinestampede.org/index.php/register/. As reported earlier (2021 White Pine Stampede goes virtual), you can race anytime between February 1 and February 12.

In lieu of overall winners for each age group, the White Pine is asking virtual racers to post a picture of themselves wearing their 2021 Performance Shirt (or their medal) and/or a photo of your completed distance (using an app like Garmin, Strava, NikeRun, etc.) after you complete your race in one of three ways:

• Post the picture on the White Pine Stampede Facebook Page
• Tag #WPS2021 in a Facebook Post
• Tag #WPS2021 in an Instagram Post

All photos posted/tagged by 12 midnight on February 12 will be eligible to win fantastic door prizes (including, but not limited to great prizes from Shanty Creek Resort, Short’s Brewing Co and more). 

Ski the White Pine with Team NordicSkiRacer

Team NordicSkiRacer invites everyone to ski the Virtual White Pine at Huron Meadows Metropark on the official day of the White Pine Stampede! We thought it would be fun to do the White Pine together without having to drive north. There are 10k and 20k distances.

You don't have to register to ski with us, but it will help support the White Pine. Register by January 13 to get the race pack before our event. Wear your White Pine event t-shirt during the 'race'.

We start racing at 9:00am.

Self timing...if you want to time yourself. Good fun for all!
