TRAVERSE CITY — TART Trails is excited to announce that Bob Wick has joined the staff as Director of Development. Wick has been active in the TART organization for several years, serving on the Board of Directors since 2002, and as its president for the last two years until resigning last month.
Wick is responsible for major gifts to the annual and capital campaigns of the TART organization to help support and expand the current trail network. Some of those projects include completing the Boardman Lake Trail and finish paving the Leelanau Trail.
“I developed a real passion for what TART was achieving, and its goals,” said Wick of his relationship with the organization. “Over time, I’ve become engaged to the point of almost feeling like staff, so this is a natural transition.”
Prior to joining TART, Wick spent eight years raising money for the Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation. He was part of a team that raised some $17 million for three main projects: Munson Manor Hospitality House, The Hospice House, and the new Emergency Room facility.
