Headquarters goes eco with EV chargers, LED lights, carbon offsets

At Cross Country Ski Headquarters, we take our responsibility to the environment seriously. This year, we doubled down on our efforts towards sustainability and installed two Electric Vehicle Charging Stations onsite at XC Ski HQ. Now, owners of EV's have the option to charge up while they go for a ski, eat lunch, or demo skis! We also installed solar-powered LED lights on the Trapper's Cabin trail last winter, meaning that skiers can now enjoy lit trails every night of the week.

We are very excited to carry a new line of echo-friendly ski wax this winter called MountainFlow eco wax, which is plant-based, petroleum-and fluoro-free, and made in the USA. We also purchase carbon offsets for every UPS shipment we make, so rest assured that your ski package purchase is shipped carbon-free. Our cage recycles, uses compostable single-use products, and offers more plant-based and Michigan-sourced menu options than ever before. An finally, with your help, we proudly donated just over $2,000 to Farmer's Footprint last year, rebuilding our nation's top soil to absorb greenhouse gases, preserving our nation's food independence, and reversing climate change.
