North American Vasa committed to 2021 race

The North American Vasa is committed to running an in-person event for 2021, though it will be limited in scope and COVID-19 safety measures will be in place that all participants will have to agree to abide by.

Ski events will include 25K and 12K Freestyle races on Saturday, and 16K and 6K classic races on Sunday. Unfortunately our big plans to run a skiathlon will have to be mothballed until 2022 (hopefully!). As in 2019, the Michigan Cup points races will be the 25K Freestyle and the 16K classic.

Junior Vasa plans are still in progress.

We will be sending out communications and updating www.vasa.org with more details as we get closer to the date. We hope to open registration on November 1.

Suffice it to say, the North American Vasa will have a whole new vibe. We hope to have as much fun, but a different kind of fun!
