Vasa Ski Club is getting ready for another exciting season of activities and programs. We are looking to hire a Club Manager to oversee administrative operations for the club. This is a part-time, paid position. It will involve year-round work, with the emphasis on the fall and winter months.

The position will oversee administrative operations for the Vasa Ski Club.
The Vasa Ski Club promotes access and enjoyment of Nordic skiing through instruction, recreation and community by offering quality programs & events to encourage youth and community members to participate in cross country skiing. We are looking for a self-starter with a passion for youth & skiing to help us oversee and further develop our recreational Nordic programs.
The successful candidate will:
Packaged based on part-time with varying hours throughout the year. Part time defined as 1,040 hours annually with higher hours during fall and winter months. Flexible hours during off season. Wage depending on experience.

The Club Manager supports a range of programming and communication activities to help further the VASA Ski Club's cross country skiing mission and goals. This position requires a genuine enthusiasm for the VASA Ski Club's work and a passion to see youth grow and succeed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively interact with and build trust and confidence among our members and supporters.
VASA Ski Club Executive Board
Program Leaders, Site Coordinators, Board of Directors. As well as external stakeholders; partners, program participants, donors, volunteers, and the general public.
Internal: Maintain contact with Board of Directors, volunteers and club members
External: Maintain contact with potential and current donors, external community groups, school officials, parents and others as required
Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with youth serving organizations, members, parents, families, funders and community organizers
The VASA Ski Club does not maintain an office. It is the responsibility of the Club Manager to make their own office arrangements. The Club Manager is expected to be present at Board meetings and attend a wide variety of events, some of which will occur outside in various weather conditions.
