With the end of the 2018-2019 season comes the final team standings. Although announced at the Michigan Cup Relays, we hadn't yet posted the actual points: they are now listed below.
A Michigan Cup team earns points through an individuals best five races, for an individual participating in the 6-Hour Michigan Cup Relays, and for points earned at the Michigan Cup Relays. Both junior and senior skier points are counted in the team competition.
The Vasa Ski Club ran away with the overall title with the most individual points, enhanced by the large number of junior racers. The Cross Country Ski Headquarters was second, vowing to increase their team's junior participation to take on Vasa next season.
Third was contested all season long, with the order shuffling up to the last moment. Team NordicSkiRacer finally took third from the Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team (4th) and Hanson Hills / Cross Country Ski Shop (5th). The University of Michigan Nordic Ski Club finished 6th, having the smallest team.
