A one day course teaches the fundamentals of both skate and classic cross-country skiing from beginner to advanced skier. Attendees will leave knowing how to apply body positioning, power and timing to enjoy efficient, autonomous skiing on a variety of terrain. Great course for those seeking a new challenge from their primary discipline. Attendees will participate in drills, games, and free skiing. Video analysis will be available and will enhance your personal skiing skills and technical knowledge.

PSIA (Professional Ski Instructors of America)is a chapter of a National Professional Organization in the Midwest that promotes and supports uniform excellence in snow sport instruction. They provide education materials (video, web, apps, magazine, and books), indoor and on snow training clinics, and certification in various disciplines of Alpine, Snowboard, Nordic and Adaptive. This two day course is for members only and must be at least 16 years of age. It will cover personal skiing skills, teaching abilities, and technical knowledge. Movement analysis will be required by each examinee as well as meeting the National Standards for certification.
This is a great experience to fine tune your own personal skiing, improve, or build upon your instructional or coaching skills and become a proficient certified ski instructor. I hope you will join the PSIA team or join a one day workshop.
