Vasa still leads; Rebecca Davis and Sam Holmes move to first

After the inclusion of the White Pine Stampede and Mike Seaman Memorial results, the Vasa Ski Club still leads the overall Michigan Cup, with the Cross Country Ski Headquarters remaining in second. But the Grand Rapids Nordic Ski Team has overtaken Team NordicSkiRacer for third place:

There has also been some changes in the leaders in the Michigan Cup individual standings:

• Junior women: Josyln Fairbanks (Cross Country Ski Headquarters) has overtaken Giulia Johnson for the lead, 534 to 394.
• Junior men: Andrew Amato (Vasa Ski Club) remains in first, but only has a narrow lead over Joshua Fairbanks (Cross Country Ski Headquarters), 400 points to 395 points.
• Senior women: Rebeccas Davis's (Hanson Hills/Cross Country Ski Shop) White Pine Stampede AND Mike Seaman Memorial win moves her into first place over Wendy Anderson (Cross Country Ski Headquarters), 994 to 952. Davis has finished first in three of six races.
• Senior men: Sam Holmes (Vasa Ski Club), who also won the White Pine Stampede, overtakes Kyle Hanson (Team NordicSkiRacer) for first, 997 to 993 points. Holmes has won four of the six events he's raced.

With the Vasa Freestyle and the Vasa Classic this weekend, we might see even more movement in the standings. But will the leaders put a bigger gap between themselves and the rest of the pack, or will someone rise from the pack to take over the lead?
