Seaman had been know to race all or nearly all the races on the Michigan Cup circuit, win the title of the racer with the most total points.. In more recent years, Seaman had been spending an increasing amount of time bike racing, sometimes doing both a cross country ski race and a cylcocross race on the same weekend.
The Mid Michigan Cycling Club held a silent ride tonight from Motorless Motion to the scene of the accident and back, according to Lisa Hadden of the Mid Michigan Cycling Club.
