Classic skiers will want a good cold snow binder. Then your favorite cold green kick wax. I would be trying the Rode Green Special. I would also iron in the first layer over the binder, then cork smooth. Apply successive layers.
Pick a ski with a fairly soft tip and a little splay with a longish contact zone. A fine grind would be good. You could add a very fine linear structure, one pass.
