I would pick skis for Saturday that have a fairly soft tip, but stiff mid flex. For the classic race it looks like klister conditions. Again a soft tip ski with a high wax pocket.
Solda Glide wax looks like the same for both days:
Good Wax:
Base: Solda HC28 scraped and brushed.
Paraffin: Solda UF 7 mixed with Solda Perfromance yellow 50/50
Better Wax:
Base: Solda HC28 scraped and brushed.
Paraffin: Solda F15 or F31 Yellow mixed with Solda F15 Red 50/50.
Best Wax:
Base: Solda FC27 scraped and brushed.
Paraffin: Solda F40 Carbon Yellow
Powder: Solda Fluor 100
Top: Solda Powerjet 5, either rotocork and brush, or after rubbing on a good layer iron with a hot iron and a sheet of fiberlene between iron and base. Then brush with nylon brush.
Classic kick wax is likely to be a silver klister with a wide range.
