Conditions looking good for Cote Dame Marie

After rain, and warm weather this Week, the Trails at Hanson Hills are holding up well for this weekend’s Cote Dame Marie Ski Loppet. We have been keeping day skiers off the trail system since Tuesday and plan on keeping the trails closed until race morning (Saturday). Tommy G. worked on the the start line area this morning while Jason groomed the Citizen Race Course and set new tracks before temperatures got to warm.

Temperatures are predicted to drop tonight and we will be back grooming the Red Trail for the Michigan Cup Race Course early Friday morning. After that we will sit and wait for race morning!

Online Registration for the Cote Dame Marie Ski Loppet is now closed. You may Register on Race Day Saturday January 16th at Hanson Hills Recreation Area from 7:00am-9:30am.
