Forbush Corner Pines Loop trail clearing this weekend

If you haven't heard yet - the beloved Pines Loop is set to re-open for the upcoming ski season. Forbush Corner will provide grooming services from our trail system into Hartwick Pines State Park (HPSP) via the refurbished Pines Loop.

Trail clearing is underway and about 1/3 of the work has already been completed. We plan to continue work this weekend and could use your help to finish this project.

Most of the work involves moving brush and limbs from the trail into the adjacent woods. Please bring work gloves and loppers. The plan is to meet at the ski shop at 9 AM before heading down to the park. We plan to work both Saturday and Sunday, November 12-13.
