Event:   9K Trail Run Pole Hike
Location:  Battle Creek Regional Park, St. Paul

The local organizing committee of the AXCS National Masters 2005 is pleased to announce a 9-K Trail Run/Pole Hike at Battle Creek Regional Park on Sunday, November 14th, registration starts at 11:00am. 

“We were planning on sponsoring a trail clean-up and maintenance day” says Race Director John O’Connell, “but the work done on trail improvements by Ramsey County has left us with little to do.  So we decided to host a training day instead.” 

The event is a combination trail run or pole hike spanning much of the trail system to be used by the AXCS National Masters Ski Championships held this coming January. The improvements done by Ramsey Count include additional trails and making some of the existing hills more “skier-friendly”.

The cost of the event is $5 and registration is same-day at the race start. Located at Battle Creek Regional Park Winthrop Rd  2300 Upper Afton Road E. St Paul

Skiers… come get a preview of the National Masters race course.  Runners… come get one last trail run in before the snow flies.
Hikers… come join us for an afternoon training session.
