RESULTS: 2016 Noquemanon Ski Marathon

The 50km Classic main event was won by Kyle Bratrud in 2:25:28.2, quite a lead over second place Nick Power (2:30:47.5). Chrios Pappathopoulos was third in 2:31:43.9. The first Lower Peninsula classic skier was Eli Brown in fourth overall in 2:32:23.4.
For the women, Natalia Naryshkina took a commanding leading, wining by over 12 minutes in 2:50:25.1. Second was Kim Rudd in 3:02:35.8, followed by Alice Flanders (3:03:36.0) and Univerity of Michigan's Ellen Wiitalla in fourth (3:13:25.5). Lower Peninusla skiers Kaitlyn Patterson and Rebecca Davis took 5th and 6th in 3:17:31.3 and 3:27:17.5.
