Looking for a warm and cozy stay overnight in the glory of Algoma’s backcountry? You are in luck. Norm’s Cabin is now open for reserved stays on a pay-as-you-play basis!

You can find information on who “Norm” was, how the cabin came to be, and the new ecotourism venture that the AHC has initiated to allow folks to follow countless silent sport recreational opportunities in the Algoma Highlands backcountry. Interested in staying the night? You could even stay a few days! It’s not too late for that end of the season’s hike, bike, or canoe adventure. Come out to Norm’s and take advantage of our beautiful new log cabin, a warm, cozy fire and a soft bed after your day of fun! You can book your reservation right from the website page.

If you are looking forward to the ski/snowshoe season and want a different local experience this year, consider staying at Norm’s as your overnight base and exploring the eastern extreme of world class cross-country ski trails, some back-country skiing, snowshoeing, or all of the above!!

Nothing is more enticing after a good ski then a spot by the woodstove, your favourite selfprepared meal and perhaps a nice glass of wine followed by a warm cozy bed complete with a view of the star-filled dark sky. So make sure you book now as rooms will fill up quickly, especially during the Christmas and New Years’ holidays.
