Justin Koski here! I hope this email finds you all doing well. As you may know, I have taken over as the President/Executive Director for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum here in beautiful Ishpeming, MI. We are just kicking off our fall fund drive and I am sending you this email with hopes that you will do one thing... JOIN AS A MEMBER/PATRON!
It is very easy and only costs $50 to join. You get Ski History magazine and other benefits. Next year, each member will get a Yooper Shirts T-Shirt and member sticker, you get free admission to Warren Miller Film presentations and much, much more...
If you are not a skier or don't even know who Warren Miller is, nor do you care about Ski History Magazine or a shirt... Let me ask you this - Do you care about the local economy in the UP or specifically Marquette County? If you answered yes then become a patron now!
The Hall of Fame is a critical component for the UP. We are the largest ski history organization in the WORLD and without local support and patronage, we will not be able to keep the fire burning and Denver or Park City could gobble us up with their deep pockets and endless donation chains.
I will be working around the clock into the future raising money, writing grants and going after big sponsorship but NOTHING I do can touch revolving support from our patrons. There are 10 million skiers in the US and we currently have 390 paying patrons. I want to get to 2000 over the next couple of years.
