PARK CITY, UT (Feb. 10, 2015) The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced the addition of Ben Saxton (Lakeville, MN) to the Falun World Championships roster. Saxton will join the 16 skiers already named on January 26. The naming comes on the heels of a sixth place finish at the U23 World Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan last week.
Ben has had another breakout year in sprinting. His sprint result at the U23 World Championships indicates that he is ready to compete with the very best in the world,” said US Cross Country Team, Head Coach Chris Grover.

Saxton responded to the discretion pick for Falun, “I am incredibly honored to be named to the World Championship team in Falun this year. Being a part of the U.S. Ski Team Family has undoubtedly played a significant role in my growth as a skier, and I am very excited to take represent that team, and our country in Sweden.”
The World Championship classic sprint event takes place on February 19.
